Guest Rooms
This hotel has 330 guestrooms located between the 23rd and 34th floors. The room interiors are simple and stylish with wide windows looking out over the city view. There are standard single, double, and twin bedrooms between the 23rd and 30th floors. The executive rooms with twin and double beds and executive suites are located between 31st and 34th floors. Executive Floor guests have a later check-out time of 12.00 noon, compared with 11.00 for the standard rooms. Universal rooms which are wheelchair accessible are also available.

All rooms are supplied with a combined air-conditioner and heater, a refrigerator, a smart TV with satellite channels, a safety deposit box, a trouser press, stationery, an electric kettle with tea making facilities, nightwear and slippers. Air purifiers are provided in Corner Twin rooms and the Executive Floor rooms. Bathrooms are fitted with a bath and shower and are provided with a full set of towels and amenities such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush sets, cotton buds, razors, hair brushes, and a deodorizing spray for your clothes.
Wired and wireless internet access is provided in all the guest rooms.

Breakfast & Dining
This hotel has two restaurants on the 35th floor: Restaurant & Bar SKY J and Sky Restaurant Tancho. Both locations offer the chance to dine while enjoying the superb city view from 150 meters above ground.
Sky J serves buffet lunches with a wide variety of Western and Chinese dishes and French style course meals for dinner. The bar is stocked with wine and whiskey from Hokkaido, and serves a wide range of cocktails.
Tancho serves traditional Japanese cuisine featuring freshly sourced Hokkaido ingredients. Lunchtime sets and course meals for both lunch and dinner are available.
Breakfast at Sky J and Tancho is available to hotel guests only. At Sky J a buffet breakfast with both Western and Japanese dishes is available between 6.30 and 10.00 (last entry at 9.30). The breakfast fee is 4,070 yen for adults and 2,200 yen for children of elementary school age.
At Tancho you can choose a traditional Japanese breakfast set or a sashimi set. Breakfast is served between 7.00 and 10.00 (last entry at 9.30), and the breakfast fee is 4,070 yen per person.
In addition to these two restaurants there is a comfortable Lobby Lounge by the 1st floor entrance to the hotel where you can enjoy tea, coffee, beer, champagne, wine, whisky, snacks, cakes, and light meals.
Buffet breakfast
Mikuni is an elegant French restaurant on the 9th floor of the Stellar Place shopping complex which is also affiliated with this hotel. Here you can enjoy course meals for lunch and dinner. The restaurant is in a different part of the station building and is reached by the dedicated elevator beside the 1st-floor information desk in Stellar Place’s central wing.
Food and drinks can be delivered to your room between 18.30 and 22.00, with last orders at 22.00. This is a one-way delivery service using disposable containers.
Other Services & Facilities
Some reception staff at this hotel can speak English, Korean and Chinese. Check-in time is at 15.00 and check-out time is at 11.00. Luggage can be left at the 1st-floor Bell Desk before checking in and after checking out on the same day.

The automatic foreign-exchange machine in the 1st-floor lobby changes US dollars, euros, Taiwan dollars, Canadian dollars, Singapore dollars, Hong Kong dollars, Chinese yuan and Korean won into Japanese yen.
There is an Indonesian style spa resort on the 22nd floor called Pulau Bulan. This spa has natural hot spring baths, bubble baths and saunas, and offers massage, aromatherapy and body scrub services. Spa admission is restricted to guests aged 18 and over and costs 2,150 yen for hotel guests, covering use during opening hours that day and the following morning. Guests with tattoos are not admitted to the baths or treatment facilities. The spa also features a café and beauty salon. The 22nd-floor Varie Non-Damage Salon is scheduled to close permanently after business on 11 October 2026.
In-room massage can be arranged through reception. Treatments must finish by 1.00 am.
The 36th floor of the hotel is occupied by banquet rooms for large events and conferences.
Smoking is not permitted in the guest rooms or public areas apart from the designated smoking booth in the 1st-floor lobby. The booth is available 24 hours a day.
Location
JR Tower Hotel Nikko Sapporo occupies floors 22 to 36 of the JR Tower skyscraper and is directly connected to JR Sapporo Station. Its 1st-floor entrance is on the south-east side of the station building, reached through East Mall. From JR Sapporo Station’s East Ticket Gate, allow about three minutes on foot.
Redevelopment around Sapporo Station may cause noise and vibration in guest rooms. A section of the road near the main entrance is closed to vehicles until 31 March 2031, subject to extension, changing the approach for cars and taxis. Pedestrians can continue to use the sidewalk.
