Keio Plaza Sapporo has more than 480 guest rooms in a 22-story building. Guest rooms here are graded as standard, superior, comfort, premier, or plaza. Each higher grade occupies a higher location in the hotel building: standard rooms are on floors 5-11, superior rooms on floors 12-14, comfort rooms on floors 15-17, premier rooms on floors 18-20, and plaza rooms and suites on the 21st floor.

Room types include singles, doubles, twins, triples, and four-person family rooms. There are also “Accessible” rooms which are suitable for wheelchair users. All rooms have air conditioning and free wireless internet access and are supplied with a TV with satellite channels, a refrigerator, a telephone, an electric kettle, green tea and coffee, an air purifier with humidifier function, a safe, a hair dryer, slippers and nightwear. Bathrooms are supplied with soap, shampoo, conditioner, towels, toothbrushes, razors, combs, and shower caps. A complimentary bottle of water is provided for each guest.

For stays from 1 April 2026, the combined Hokkaido and Sapporo accommodation tax is 300 yen per person per night for accommodation charges below 20,000 yen, 400 yen for charges from 20,000 yen to below 50,000 yen, and 1,000 yen for charges of 50,000 yen or more. These thresholds are based on the accommodation charge per person per night, excluding meals and consumption tax. The tax is paid separately at the hotel at check-in or check-out.
Breakfast & Dining
Keio Plaza Sapporo has restaurants, a bakery, and a bar. Breakfast is served at Glass Seasons and Pegasus. Guests can get a 10% discount on eligible dinner and bar purchases at Yamanami, Miyama, Akizu, and Cross Vault by showing their key card. Some plans, private-room fees and cover charges are excluded, and the offer cannot be combined with other discounts. Hotel members receive separate benefits.
Glass Seasons on the 1st floor serves a buffet breakfast between 6.00 and 10.30 with last entry at 10.00. The buffet features Western style dishes such as omelettes, bread, soups, salads, and curry, and Japanese style dishes such as grilled fish, noodles, rice and miso soup. Through 30 September 2026, breakfast costs 4,000 yen for adults and 2,000 yen for children aged 6-12. From 1 October 2026, these prices are 4,500 yen and 2,250 yen respectively. Children aged 5 or younger eat free. Prices include tax and service, and hotel guests receive a 10% discount by showing their room key. Glass Seasons also serves lunch sets between 11.30 and 14.30, with last orders at 14.00, and a cafe menu between 10.00 and 17.00, with last orders at 16.30. From 17 June through 25 September 2026, the cafe menu and lunch sets other than the Shima Enaga lunch are served in the 1st-floor cafe area; the Shima Enaga lunch is served at Pegasus on the 22nd floor.
Buffet breakfast
Pegasus on the 22nd floor serves a Japanese set breakfast from 7.00 to 10.00, with last orders at 9.30. The seasonal meal includes fish, side dishes, rice or rice porridge, miso soup, and dessert. Prices and the hotel-guest discount are the same as for the Glass Seasons breakfast, including the change from 1 October 2026. This breakfast is for hotel guests only, with payment charged to the room or made by a cashless method.
Japanese Cuisine Miyama on the 22nd floor serves traditional Japanese multi-course gourmet meals in private rooms, featuring local delicacies and seasonal ingredients from across Japan. Lunch is served from 11.30 to 15.00, with last orders at 14.30, and dinner from 17.00 to 21.30, with last orders at 21.00. Both meals must be reserved for at least two people by noon the previous day. The restaurant closes on Mondays and Tuesdays, except for lunch when either day is a public holiday.
Yamanami is a teppanyaki restaurant on the 22nd floor. Here diners sit at a counter to watch the chef cooking up Kobe beef steaks, Ezo abalone, king crab and foie gras on the hot plate. Lunch is served from 11.30 to 15.00 with last orders at 14.30; weekday lunch must be booked by 18.00 the previous day. Dinner is from 17.00 to 22.30, with last entry at 21.00 and last orders at 21.30. Children below elementary-school age are not admitted.
Akizu is a restaurant on the B1 level specializing in seasonal Hokkaido dishes, sushi, sashimi, and charcoal grilled seafood. Lunch is from 11.30 to 14.30 with last orders at 14.00. Dinner is from 17.00 to 22.00, with last orders at 20.30 for courses and 21.00 for a la carte dishes. A partitioned party space at Akizu can be booked for groups of 15 or more.
Café Duet
Café Duet, pictured above, closed on 31 March 2021. Glass Seasons offers cafe and lunch service on the 1st floor.
Cross Vault on the 1st floor is the hotel bar and serves a range of fine whiskies, select sakes, and classic cocktails from 17.00 to 23.00. Last orders are at 21.30 for food and 22.30 for drinks. There is a cover charge of 900 yen per person, and guests must be aged 20 or older.
Pastry Boutique Poppins is a bakery on the 1st floor selling cakes, pastries, and bread. It opens from 10.00 to 17.00, with bread on sale from 11.00.
Room service is available for breakfast from 7.00 to 11.00, with reservations required by 21.30 the previous evening. Evening orders are accepted from 17.00 to 21.30, with a 21.00 cutoff for sushi and seafood bowls.
Other Services & Facilities
This hotel has a concierge service with friendly staff who can help with restaurant bookings and sightseeing inquiries. Standard check-in time is from 15.00 and check-out time is by 11.00, unless the booked plan specifies different times. Luggage can be stored at reception before checking in and for the remainder of the check-out day.

The following items can be borrowed from reception: an iron, a desk lamp, an extension cord, a power plug adapter, a hair iron, extra blankets and pillow, and a wheelchair. Loan wheelchairs are for use inside the hotel only; contact the hotel in advance because availability is limited.
Printing, copying and fax services are available in the 1st floor lobby for a fee.
There is a foreign currency exchange machine on the 1st floor lobby level. It exchanges supported foreign banknotes into Japanese yen, but does not exchange yen into foreign currency.
Laundry and ironing services are available at reception.
This hotel has a fitness center which includes an indoor swimming pool, a fully equipped gym, an ultrasonic vibra-bath, a sauna, and a cold bath. The standard hotel-guest charge is 3,300 yen per person per visit for the pool, gym, baths, and sauna. The pool and gym open from 10.00 to 21.00, and the baths and sauna from 10.00 to 22.00, with final reception at 21.30. Use is restricted to guests aged 16 or older, and people with tattoos are not admitted. The facilities close on the 10th of each month.

Parking is available at the hotel for a fee of 2,000 yen per night, covering use until noon on the check-out day.

Keio Plaza Sapporo is a 5-minute walk from JR Sapporo Station. This location is convenient for the Old Hokkaido Government Office, Hokkaido University Campus, and Hokkaido University Botanical Gardens.
